Kline Statement on Supreme Court's Decision to Hear Challenge to Health Care Law

U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chairman John Kline (R-MN) issued the following statement after the United States Supreme Court announced it would consider legal challenges to the health care law:

"The decision by the United States Supreme Court is good news for every American who wants commonsense solutions to the problems in our nation’s health care system. Rather than enact a responsible plan that would lower costs and increase access to care, Democrats in Washington pursued a costly and unconstitutional government takeover of health care. House Republicans have listened to the widespread public outcry on this health care scheme, and we have been fighting to repeal and replace this law with sensible reforms that help families and employers. I hope the Supreme Court ultimately recognizes ObamaCare for what it is: an indefensible overreach by the federal government that must be overturned.”
