As the House of Representatives prepares to consider legislation to strike down the president’s job-destroying health care law, Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions Chairman Phil Roe, M.D. (R-TN) testified in front of the House Rules Committee to urge support for the Repeal of ObamaCare Act (H.R. 6079):
“As a practicing physician … I’ve read the 2,700 page bill, and already we have 13,000 pages of rules and regulations. Does anybody in this room believe that those 13,000 pages of rules and regulations are going to make it easier for me as a physician and easier for that patient to come in and see me? There is a much simpler and better way to do it.”
The House will convene this afternoon to begin debate of the Repeal of ObamaCare Act. To learn more about H.R. 6079, click here. To watch the debate, visit http://clerk.house.gov/.
