THIS WEEK: Hearing on Examining the Policies and Priorities of the U.S. Department of Education and Subcommittee Hearing on Regulatory Reform

On Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m., the Committee on Education and the Workforce will hold a hearing on "Examining the Policies and Priorities of the U.S. Department of Education."

On Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m., the Committee on Education and the Workforce will hold a hearing on "Examining the Policies and Priorities of the U.S. Department of Education." The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.  

The hearing will examine the U.S. Department of Education’s achievements since the Secretary's confirmation and outline the Department’s upcoming priorities and agenda.

Media Guidance: The hearing will take place in 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building and will be webcast live at republicans-edlabor.house.gov. On the day of the hearing, media will be allowed access to the committee hearing room at 9:45 a.m.

Due to anticipated interest and limited space, congressionally-credentialed members of the media are encouraged to RSVP by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21. Attendance will be limited to one media representative from each outlet on first-come, first-served basis. We will try to accommodate additional representatives if space is available. Contact information for each gallery is below should additional questions arise on guidance and practices:

On Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections will hold a hearing on "Regulatory Reform: Unleashing Economic Opportunity for Workers and Employers." The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.             

The hearing will explore workers and employers' economic opportunity.
