Kline Statement on NLRB Inspector General Report
WASHINGTON, D.C.,
March 23, 2012
U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chairman John Kline (R-MN) issued the following statement after the Office of Inspector General for the National Labor Relations Board issued a report documenting allegations of ethical misconduct by recess appointee Terence Flynn:
“The Inspector General’s report makes serious allegations that Terence Flynn engaged in ethical misconduct while an employee of the National Labor Relations Board. Any allegation of misconduct by a public official must be reviewed. It is my understanding this matter has been appropriately referred to the Department of Justice, the federal authority ultimately responsible for determining whether legal action is necessary.
