***MEDIA ADVISORY*** TIME CHANGE: Hearing to Examine Career and Technical Education Programs

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 19, 2013
On Friday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will hold a hearing entitled, “Preparing Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s Jobs: A Discussion on Career and Technical Education and Training Programs.” The hearing will provide members an opportunity to explore ways the federal government can help support state and local initiatives to improve career and technical education.
