THIS WEEK: Subcommittee Hearing on Occupational Licensing and Subcommittee Hearing on Growth, Opportunity, and Change in the U.S. Labor Market and the American Workforce

On Wednesday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development will hold a hearing on “Occupational Licensing: Reducing Barriers to Economic Mobility and Growth.” The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

On Wednesday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m., the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development will hold a hearing on “Occupational Licensing: Reducing Barriers to Economic Mobility and Growth.” The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The hearing will explore the prevalence of occupational licensing, its effects on economic growth and upward mobility, and what is being done to address the issue within states and across state lines.
