U.S. House Education and the Workforce Committee Chairman John Kline (R-MN) issued the following statement today after the U.S. House of Representatives approved the Repeal of ObamaCare Act (H.R. 6079) with bipartisan support:
The House of Representatives today reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the peoples’ will by voting to strike down ObamaCare, a law that is placing unnecessary strain on our economy and raising costs for families and businesses. Repealing this fatally flawed health care scheme is a step toward private-sector job growth and meaningful health care reform. It is time President Obama and Senate Democrats stopped defending the indefensible and joined House efforts to clear the way for commonsense solutions that will expand access to more affordable health care.
