Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, and Michael Saltsman, research director at the Employment Policies Institute (EPI), recently sat down with four female employees of CKE franchise restaurants who described the opportunities they’ve enjoyed as members of the “CKE family.” While all four women come from different backgrounds, they share positive experiences working at Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. restaurants.

Of course, these aren’t the kinds of stories union leaders and left-leaning think tanks want the public to hear. That’s especially true in the midst of a coordinated campaign to bring down Andy Puzder, who promises to lead the Department of Labor in a new, more positive direction. Fortunately, these four women are once again speaking out courtesy of a new video released by EPI. So take a short break from your busy day, and watch as these employees share their inspiring stories.
