On Wednesday, April 26, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions, chaired by Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), will hold a hearing titled “Reducing Health Care Costs for Working Americans and Their Families.”
“Rising health care costs are a top issue for millions of American families, workers, and businesses, especially as the cost of living is skyrocketing due to the misguided and harmful policies of the Biden administration,” said Chair Good. “Democrats’ solution is to move towards total government-run health care and continue to throw more money at the Affordable Care Act’s broken and failed subsidy structure. But, if we want to get serious about addressing the core drivers of increasing health care costs in America, we must begin removing regulatory barriers for small business owners, expanding access to telemedicine, increasing market competition and pricing transparency, prohibiting dishonest and surprise billing, and giving the American people more choices and flexibility.”
