On Republican solutions to address the nation’s debt:

“We’ve passed a debt ceiling bill. Now it’s [Biden’s] turn and the Senate’s turn to come to the table and negotiate.”

“Limit, save, and grow. That’s the plan that we have with the debt ceiling.”

“All [Randi Weingarten and AFT] cared about was keeping the schools shut down. The Biden administration, the unions, the leadership of the unions—they always work together on everything and it’s never for the good of the people.”

“It set our students back.”

“We have a loss of learning that set us back two decades. They weren’t caring about the students when they kept the schools closed. They were only caring about getting paid and not [having] to work.”
