On Tuesday, June 13th, at 10:15 a.m., the Committee on Education and the Workforce, chaired by Virginia Foxx (R-NC), will hold a full Committee hearing titled “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Department of Health and Human Services.” Secretary Xavier Becerra will testify at the hearing. 
 
“Under the leadership of Secretary Becerra, the Department of Health and Human Services has furthered its radical political agenda at the expense of Americans’ health and well-being,” said Chairwoman Foxx. “The Department remains unaccountable for billions in outstanding COVID-19 relief dollars, yet the FY 2024 budget request calls for a more than 13 percent increase from FY 2023 enacted levels. Before the Department receives another dollar, Secretary Becerra must answer for his radical actions like his attacks on employer-sponsored health insurance, pushing gender-reassignment surgeries on minors, violating Americans’ religious freedoms, and socializing prescription drug costs."
