Subcommittee on Workforce Protections

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 26, 2023
WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, September 27, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, chaired by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), will hold a hearing titled Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

“A thriving American workforce can coexist with robust workplace health and safety protections,” said Chairman Kiley“Unfortunately, OSHA is falling short of both goals. During this administration, the agency has weakened our workforce while taking its eye off the ball when it comes to proper health and safety oversight. This hearing is a necessary step in holding OSHA accountable and restoring its mission of putting the best interests of workers and job creators first.”
