Foxx Offers New Resource to Report Antisemitism on Campus

Report Antisemitism at Report.antisemitism@mail.house.gov

WASHINGTON – Today, Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) announced the creation of a Committee-run email dedicated to college students, faculty, and concerned community members who are interested in reporting cases of antisemitism on campus. Reports may be filed at Report.antisemitism@mail.house.gov.

“In the wake of the December 5 hearing with the presidents of Harvard, UPenn, and MIT, Committee Members have received dozens of messages from across the country from those interested in sharing cases of antisemitism at their respective institutions,” said Chairwoman Foxx. “Having a centralized reporting system allows the Committee to more effectively review and act on credible cases of antisemitism. I believe this resource will play an important role in helping the Committee conduct its investigation and bring real accountability to institutions that are failing their students and faculty.”

Background:
  • December 7, 2023: Chairwoman Foxx announced that the Committee was opening a formal investigation into the learning environments at Harvard, UPenn, MIT, and other institutions.
  • December 5, 2023: the Committee held a hearing titled, “Holding Campus Leader Accountable and Confronting Antisemitism.” The presidents of Harvard, UPenn, and MIT offered shocking testimony where they failed to affirm that calling for the genocide of Jews violated their codes of conduct.
