WASHINGTON – Today, Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement regarding the Biden administration’s final rule implementing Executive Order 14063 that fattens the wallets of its union boss bedfellows through lopsided project labor agreements on federal construction projects: 

“Whenever union bosses call President Biden to do their bidding, he picks up on the first ring. With today’s announcement, American workers, contractors, and taxpayers have just had their feet swept out from under them—all because President Biden can’t shake his adoration for his union handlers. Precluding hardworking men and women from federal construction jobs simply because they do not belong to a union is outrageous. This final rule is pure bureaucratic nepotism.”
