Bean to Hold Hearing on Protecting Missing and Exploited Children – Tomorrow at 10:15 AM

WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education, chaired by Rep. Aaron Bean (R-FL), will hold a hearing titled: “Protecting Missing and Exploited Children.” 

“The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children serves as a vital resource for recovering children who are missing and protecting our nation’s most vulnerable,” said Chairman Bean. “Throughout this hearing we will discuss all the work and services NCMEC provides to families, victims, law enforcement, and the public to prevent child abductions and exploitation. In order to facilitate these efforts, it is essential that we reauthorize the Missing Children’s Assistance Act and update provisions to enhance coordination efforts and promote safety for children using technology.”
