Kiley to Hold Biden’s Wage and Hour Division Accountable

WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, February 14, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, chaired by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), will hold a hearing titled: “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Wage and Hour Division.”

“The Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division is using its large budget to impose new regulations that will have devastating impacts on America’s workers and job creators, such as the independent contractor rule,” said Chairman Kiley. “To make matters worse, the agency is requesting a 24 percent budget increase to further this anti-worker agenda. Our Committee will use this hearing to conduct much needed oversight and hold the Department of Labor accountable.”
