Owens to Hold Hearing Exposing Hypocrisy and Divisiveness of DEI Initiatives — Tomorrow at 10:15 AM

WASHINGTON — Tomorrow, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development, chaired by Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), will hold a hearing titled "Divisive, Excessive, Ineffective: The Real Impact of DEI on College Campuses."

"As a child growing up in segregation, I experienced separate bathrooms, water fountains, and schools. America has made significant strides, and it's appalling to see blatant discrimination, indoctrination, and divisiveness encouraged and funded from classrooms to corporations," said Chair Owens. "We cannot let DEI sabotage our country's fundamental values of hard work and meritocracy, teaching our children that it's acceptable to judge each other based on race or sex. This hearing represents our committee's latest push to expose the true nature of DEI and its consequences for students, faculty, and learning outcomes."
