WASHINGTON — Tomorrow, at 10:15 a.m., the Committee on Education and the Workforce, chaired by Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), will hold a hearing titled “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the Department of Health and Human Services.”
“Under Secretary Becerra, the Department of Health and Human Services has pursued a radical political agenda that has compromised Americans’ religious freedoms and parental rights, and pushed dangerous gender-reassignment surgeries on minors,”said Chairwoman Foxx.“Now, the Department is asking for a budget increase to prop up the failing Obamacare marketplace and saddle private insurance with more burdensome regulations, ultimately making it harder for Americans to access the high-quality health care they deserve. This hearing will allow the Committee to conduct much-needed oversight of the Department and its warped priorities.”
