Kiley to Hold Hearing Examining the Biden-Harris Attacks on Tipped Workers

WASHINGTON, D.C., September 11, 2024
WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, September 18, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, chaired by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), will hold a hearing titled “Examining the Biden-Harris Attacks on Tipped Workers.”

"With record-high inflation, tipped workers need policies that make it easier to earn a living, not harder. Implementing a rule that further penalizes workers and job creators who utilize the tip credit is the wrong move," said Chairman Kiley. "This hearing will highlight pro-market initiatives that can improve workers' earnings, provide businesses with more flexibility, and lessen the regulatory burden."
