Chairman Walberg Praises President Trump’s First 100 Days

Today, Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI) issued the following statement recognizing the Trump administration’s accomplishments within its first 100 days:

“The first 100 days of Trump’s presidency were a whirlwind of wins for families, students, and the American workforce. Within a few short months, the Trump administration delivered on its promises to depower the Department of Education, empower parents, get workers the skills needed to succeed, expand manufacturing, and protect women and girls in sports—but these are just a few accomplishments among many, with more to come.

“I am glad we finally have a president in the White House willing to confront the challenges and woke ideology ravaging our education system and the nation’s workforce. Under the Biden-Harris administration, our workforce languished under crushing inflation and regulations while bureaucrats pushed radical ideology in schools. President Trump promised to put America back on the path to prosperity—and he is delivering. As Chairman of the Committee on Education and Workforce, I look forwarding to continuing the Trump administration’s accomplishments that are putting students, workers, and job creators first—ensuring our country thrives.”
