Kline Statement on January Jobs Report
WASHINGTON, D.C.,
February 5, 2016
House Education and the Workforce Committee Chairman John Kline (R-MN) issued the following statement after the Department of Labor released unemployment data for January 2016: The American people know there is a lot of potential for the economy to do better. Stagnant wages, higher health care costs, and a lack of full-time jobs are still very real challenges facing many middle-class families. The president’s demands for more regulations and higher taxes are pulling our country in the wrong direction. We can do better, and that’s why we are continuing our efforts to put forward a bold, pro-growth agenda, one that will spur the kind of opportunity and prosperity all Americans deserve. # # # |
