WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, at 10:15 a.m., the Education and the Workforce Committee will mark up H.R. 5646Stop Campus Hazing ActH.R. 7233Jenna Quinn Law of 2024H.R. 736PROTECT Kids ActH.J. Res. 181Congressional Review Act resolution to stop the Biden-Harris rule limiting access to Association Health Plans (AHPs); H.R. 3120Healthy Competition for Better Care Act; and H.R. 9457Transparent Telehealth Bills Act of 2024.

“From preventing child abuse to expanding high-quality, low-cost health care options, the breadth and depth of the Committee’s work is evident from this markup. Specifically, we will examine legislation to prevent child abuse, protect students in the classroom, deter hazing on college campuses, and strengthen employers’ ability to offer generous health care benefits,” said Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC)“You can’t pick more rewarding work than looking out for the interests of students and workers, which is what these six bills do. I look forward to advancing each measure.”
